Simulcast Parties

Even if you are not able to attend TEDxCreativeCoast in person on June 18th, you can still experience the live event by hosting a simulcast party at your office, school, restaurant, or bar!

The simulcast allows you to tap into the live-stream broadcast of the entire event that we will be providing on the TEDxCreativeCoast website, and then connect your computer to a big-screen or projection TV. You can engage with cutting-edge ideas that are shaping our world, connect with others of like mind, and be part of the larger TEDxCreativeCoast community beyond the in-person event on Friday, June 18th by organizing a simulcast party with all your friends.


What’s so great about hosting a simulcast party?

  1. It’s FREE!
  2. Your event will be listed on our site of public event locations (unless you are organizing a private event).
  3. TEDxCreativeCoast will promote your simulcast event through our tweets to encourage more attendees (If it is open to the public).

Ready to host your own 2010 TEDxCreativeCoast Simulcast Party? Cool!

  1. Sign up using the form below so that we can list all of your information to the list of Parties Everywhere.
  2. Find a location, determine how long you want to hold the simulcast, and invite people.
  3. If it’s a public event, let us know how many sign-ups you’ve got so far, the venue, start/end time, max number of attendees, and/or any other restrictions or information.
    Please let your group know that the Twitter hashtag for the event is #TEDxCC, and the Flickr hashtag/tag is TEDXCC and/or TEDXCreativeCoast. (We ask that you take and share at least one picture of the attendees at your party, and hope that you will be inspired to post as many as you like.)
  4. On the day of the event (Friday, June 18th), gather together to watch TEDxCreativeCoast on the home page and be inspired!
