We’ve all been so grateful for the response to this year’s TEDxCC. We enjoyed it as much as you did! Thank you, Savannah, especially the Creative Coast and all who envision our city as a hub for creativity, intellect, art and culture.

On May 13, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Savannah will host the second annual TEDxCreativeCoast, at the magnificent Jepson Center for the Arts, 207 W. York St. Affiliated with the renowned TED Conference; TEDxCreativeCoast is a local, self-organized one day conference with the goal to re-create the unique expertise found at the TED Conference.
With a diverse group of speakers committed to the event, and following TED’s celebrated format, the 2011 TEDxCreativeCoast event will be a day of brief (18 minutes or less), carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a wide range of subjects related to the theme of the conference, “Inspiring Innovation.” This year’s conference will host professors, entrepreneurs, CEOs, authors, designers, performers, community activists and more with the intent to foster learning, inspiration and wonder and to provoke conversations that matter.
TEDxCreativeCoast is a natural extension of where the city is and wants to be. With that in mind, the organizers are excited to announce a line-up of speakers who are, in their own ways, all tied to Savannah and the creative coast.
